Register a float, walking group or band — parade rules and order of march.

The Rosenmontagszug thrives on neighbourhoods, clubs and groups who bring floats, walk or play music. You are the parade.

At the 2026 parade there were around 33 start numbers (floats, walking groups, bands). After the procession the after-parade party is at Festzelt Zum Michael — tickets most recently on site (guide price: €10, as of session 2025/26).

Date: still open (marked “??” on the old website). Once known, it will appear under Dates.

Parade rules (draft — club approval pending)

Until parade leadership supplies a binding version, treat the following as guidance:

  1. Throwing materials: only soft, harmless items — no glass, no hard objects, no confetti cannons.
  2. Safety distance: keep sufficient distance from spectators and groups ahead.
  3. Music: volume considerate; in the Gartenstraße family zone reduced volume; no continuous blasting except by arrangement.
  4. Alcohol: forbidden at the wheel and on parade vehicles.
  5. Insurance: participation only with valid liability cover / as required by the club.

Please supply binding parade rules and order of march with start numbers before the parade (data/zugordnung.yaml).
