The Rosenmontagszug thrives on neighbourhoods, clubs and groups who bring floats, walk or play music. You are the parade.

At the 2026 parade there were around 33 start numbers (floats, walking groups, bands). After the procession the after-parade party is at Festzelt Zum Michael — tickets most recently on site (guide price: €10, as of session 2025/26).

Date: 02.02.2027 at 20:11 at Freiheit 24 (all further dates under Dates ).

Parade rules

As guidance:

1. Throwing materials: only soft, harmless items — no glass, no hard objects, no confetti cannons.
2. Safety distance: keep sufficient distance from spectators and groups ahead.
3. Music: volume considerate; in the Gartenstraße family zone reduced volume; no continuous blasting except by arrangement.
4. Alcohol: forbidden at the wheel and on parade vehicles.
5. Float safety: on participating floats, every axle must be guarded by safety personnel.
6. Insurance: participation only with valid liability cover / as required by the club.
